Financial Analyst

Our client is looking for a collaborative and dynamic Financial Analyst to join their FP&A team on a two-year contract. As a key part of the team, you will provide strategic input into operational issues and deliver financial analysis services to support the achievement of business objectives. Reporting to the Manager of Financial Services, your main responsibilities will include :

• Providing support to business leaders on budgeting, reporting, and forecasting processes for current and future organizational objectives
• Managing the day-to-day financial activities to ensure compliance and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Conduct process improvement analysis – identifying, establishing, and maintaining KPI’s
• Managing financial reports, providing special analysis as required, and ensuring integrity of the financial systems
• Providing ongoing training and mentoring and assist with the informed decision-making process

Qualifications

Mandatory :

The main qualifications for this role include :

• CPA accounting designation completed or in progress is preferred (international designations are accepted)
• A solid accounting background, including a minimum of 4 years’ experience with analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Advanced Excel skills
• Must be fully COVID vaccinated (2 doses)

Definite Assets :

• Experience with SAP
• IBM Analytics
• Previous experience in a NFP or healthcare industry
