Job Description

We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team in Windsor, ON. Reporting to the Branch Manager, the  Mobile Equipment Operator  is responsible to carry out the various loads of material requiring the use of a loader.

What you're responsible for :

  • Driving and manoeuvring the loader to load and move vehicles to appropriate areas.
  • Removing rows of vehicles and ensuring access and maintenance of the yard, for our customers.
  • Crushing vehicles.
  • Performing inspection prior to use of all equipment.
  • Ensuring the maintenance and servicing of the loader and the press.
  • Marking cars for control and inventory purposes.
  • Loading the crushed vehicles into the delivery trucks.
  • Performing forklift task when necessary.
  • Helping customers transport heavy parts to their vehicle.
  • Performing labourer tasks when all the loader tasks are completed (ex : depollution, removing rims from tires, daily support).
  • Qualifications

    To join our team :

  • Ability to drive and operate a heavy vehicle;
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role;
  • Demonstrate, at all times, safe behavior in accordance with health and safety standards;
  • Patient and flexible;
  • Team player;
  • Conscientious of its equipment;
  • Good ability to concentrate;
  • Ability to adapt to different climate;
  • Have a valid forklift operator card (asset);
  • Loader operator trainings (asset).
