About The Job
Our partner is a company specializing in the design and manufacturing of high-tech metal components for the aviation industry.
We are looking for CNC machinists who will be responsible for producing cutting-edge components for the aerospace sector.
Your Responsibilities
Operates up to three specialized machines to produce parts according to drawings, router packaging, specifications and / or special instructions.
Recognizes and detects out-of-tolerance machines and adjusts controls or checking fixtures as required.
Performs basic tests to verify the accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data.
Verifies conformity of parts to specifications using gauges, SPC and shop system.
Recognizes and remedies minor machine adjustments and in-process inspections. Significant deviations are reported to the manager or supervisor.
Performs work operations under supervision.
Checks tooling and reworks if necessary to maintain machine in working order.
Arranges parts for successive and continuous machining operations.
Examines products for compliance with quality standards, following drawings or work instructions.
Participates in and complies with LEAP and APU / GAP standards.
Participate and engage in PSM1 meetings, reporting any ongoing and long-term issues you encounter.
Support actions concerning projects and workshops.
Perform record keeping, data entry, housekeeping and observe all safety rules.
OUR OFFER
A starting salary of $20.00 / hour, to 24.00$ / h based on experience
Day training schedule, 7 : 30 AM to 4 : 00 PM, Monday to Friday
Shift (B) Day : Wednesday to Saturday & Thursday to Saturday, from 6 : 00 AM to 6 : 00 PM

Our Requirements
High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
Minimum 3-5 years experience or equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use shop and measuring tools.
