Job description

Job Title : Azure Site Reliability Engineer

Location : Montreal (Day onboarding onsite / in office presence x week)

Duration : Months Contract Experience Level :

Level (senior) : - years

Primary Responsibilities :

Hands-on development and design of Python applications.

Enhance and integrate the CSP automation framework with in-house tooling (Azure initially).

Integrate automation workflows into CI / CD pipelines.

Produce proof of concepts in new areas of development.

Provide technical support for debugging (on-prem and cloud) application failures in production systems.

Participate in all aspects of SDLC (analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment).

Evaluate and implement emerging DevOps tools.

Build and integrate observability into cloud platforms and solutions.

Highlight and reduce toil with automation, architecture improvements, and process improvements.

Required Skills :

Experience with Python and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and Ansible).

Experience with CI / CD pipelines (GitHub Actions and Jenkins).

Solid understanding of object-oriented design and development.

Proficiency in Linux / Unix environments.

Proficient with DB technologies (preferably NoSQL) including modeling, testing, and tuning.

Ability to write reusable, optimized, and maintainable code that is well-documented and follows industry-standard best practices.

Implementing open-source observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry).

Interview Process :

Phone interview on Python fundamentals and coding assessment.

One phone and in-person interview.
