We have an immediate full-time opportunity available for a Business Development Account Executive at our location in the King East Design District at 28 Sherbourne St. Toronto.
The Account Executive will be responsible for a current account list containing some key accounts and growth prospect accounts. They will also be responsible for growing their book of business using Aquavato’s strong value proposition and sales tools within the luxury plumbing segment. A strong understanding of the design build industry in the GTA will help them achieve this.This position offers a great team environment, hands on training and opportunity for growth. The candidate has primary responsibility for providing exemplary customer service to clients and representing the luxury brands we offer and EMCO culture in the highest manner possible within the market place.
Additional duties will include :
- Visit customer offices and project sites to assess the customer’s business, understand their needs and to develop and maintain strong relationships in order to generate and close profitable sales
- Prospect and identify new customers in order to grow account base
- Lead and own the sales process including producing sales call reports, territory planning and growth targets
- Build an excellent understanding of the products we sell in order to support your client base from a knowledge and technical perspective
- Develop a strong understanding of the Architecture and Design industry within the GTA in order to build strong and long lasting relationships.
- Analyze customer data, develop, and execute strategies to profitably grow market share while meeting and exceeding targets set at the Profit Centre
- Process orders, quotes, job packages and any other sales functions required
- Investigate and resolve customer issues; address short payments and returns in a timely fashion that exceeds the customer’s expectations and benefits of the Profit Centre
- Develop and oversee implementation of strategic vendor programs designed to profitably grow the business; participate in vendor trade shows and industry conventions
- Understand and follow all safety regulations at all customer locations as well as at the Profit Centre
- Support the Customer Service Representatives and all Profit Centre activities as part of the Profit Centre team
- Perform other tasks as requested by the Profit Centre Manager
Qualifications
B2B sales experience with strong preference for experience in the Architecture & Design communityExcellent relationship building skillsUniversity degree and / or college diplomaA minimum of 2 years of experience with sales and / or customer serviceValid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstractProficient in the use of Microsoft Office softwareOutstanding customer service and verbal communication skillsDriven to continually identify and pursue new customers and to profitably increase market share of each assigned customerAbility to gain comprehensive knowledge of product and value-added servicesExcellent relationship building skills with customers, vendors, and teammatesAble to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining tight deadlines with multiple projectsAbility to learn and operate the applicable software system used to process ordersIntermediate math skillsAdditional Information
