Are you an experienced and detail-oriented programmer with a strong background in the fire protection industry?

If you have a minimum of two years of fire alarm installation or repair experience, and possess excellent problem-solving skills, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our highly talented team at Onyx Fire as a Fire Alarm Programmer.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers, construction team, engineers, and technicians to understand project requirements and design specifications for fire alarm systems.
• Program and configure fire alarm control panels, devices, and related equipment in accordance with project specifications and applicable codes.
• Perform system testing and troubleshooting to ensure proper functionality and adherence to all standards and codes.
• Provide technical support and guidance to on‑site installation and repair teams during the installation and commissioning phase of projects.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and vendors to address any programming‑related queries or concerns.
• Stay updated with industry advancements, technological trends, and best practices in fire alarm system programming.
