Construction (Roofing) Labourer

Bothwell-Accurate Company (B.C.) Ltd. has been a leader in roofing waterproofing cladding and glazing services across British Columbia and Ontario for over 90 years. With more than 60000 completed projects were known for delivering high-quality innovative and reliable building envelope solutions to commercial industrial and institutional clients.

As we continue to grow were looking for a Roofing Labourer to join our Service team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day problem-solving on the spot and working on active sites where no two calls are the same.

What Youll Do

Assist Service Foreman and technicians with on-site roof leak investigations repairs and maintenance work on commercial flat roofing systems
Perform small-scale repairs to SBS modified bitumen and other low-slope roofing systems
Remove and replace damaged roofing materials flashings sealants and membranes as needed
Prepare roof surfaces for repairs by cleaning drying and applying primers and adhesives
Load unload and transport materials and tools to various service locations throughout the day
Support emergency leak calls and urgent repair work in varying weather conditions
Maintain a clean safe and organized service vehicle and job site
Follow all safety procedures while working at heights and on occupied buildings
Communicate effectively with the Service Foreman regarding site conditions materials needed and repair progress

What You Bring to the Team

Experience working with SBS or other flat / low-slope roofing systems service or install experience accepted

Ability to safely use hand and power tools (e.g. propane torches drills angle grinders etc.)

Ability to troubleshoot adapt and work efficiently in fast-paced changing environments

Positive attitude reliability and willingness to learn from experienced service technicians

Strong understanding of roofing safety standards and working at heights

Valid drivers license service work often requires travel between sites

Comfortable travelling between multiple sites in a day

Hours of Work : M-F6 : 00 a.m. 4 : 00 p.m.

Hourly : $26-$30 per hour (based on experience)

Reports To : Site Foreman / Superintendent
