The incumbent supports the Personal Banking Advisors in their advisory role and business development activities to offer customers the opportunity to improve their overall financial health.
Responsibilities
- Position yourself as a point of contact, in collaboration with the Personal Services Advisor, for clients
- Ensure that the needs of clients are met to their satisfaction
- Support the advisors in the solicitation of the assigned clientele in order to ensure optimal management of the client portfolio
- In collaboration with the Personal Services Advisor, diligently follow the maturity schedule of the financial products of the assigned clientele
- Participate in telephone solicitation and ensure customer service
- Inform clients on the Bank's policies and procedures as well as on the various campaigns and promotions in progress
- Support the Personal Banking Advisor in the preparation of optimal client meetings in a 100% advisory environment.
Provide administrative support
Carry out administrative tasks and ensure the administrative link with the various departmentsComplete various documents according to priorities and ensure follow-upCoordinate client files, reception of necessary documentation and ensure follow-upSupport the Personal Services advisors in the management of agendas and the preparation of appointments with the assigned clienteleCollaborate with the Private Client Services Advisor in the organization of client appointmentsCollaborate with the Private Client Services Advisor to ensure the quality and compliance of client filesWork with the Retail Advisor to ensure accuracy of data and transactions and comply with applicable legislation, Bank policies, programs and proceduresComply with continuing education requirements and practices governed by the industry's self-regulatory organizationsAny other related duties to assist in the success of the branchQualifications
Mutual fund representative's license acquired or obtained within 6 months of the date of appointmentBilingualismCompleted college diploma1 to 3 years of relevant experience in the banking fieldProfessional working proficiency in French and English languages required as position involves frequent written and oral communication on complex matters with internal and external parties in both languages Specific skillsRelational skills focused on customer serviceGood knowledge of the banking environmentStrong work organization and priority management skillsStrong communication skills (in person, by phone and in writing)Thoroughness and concern for work well doneBusiness development skillsWhat Laurentian Bank has to offer you
