On the Bell Business Markets team, you'll be a vital part of making innovation happen for enterprise-scale customers. You'll deliver advanced solutions in areas such as IoT, Mobility / 5G, Cloud, Cyber Security, Voice, Collaboration & Contact Centre and Internet & Private Networks.

Summary

The Business Development team works with some of the world's largest and most innovative organizations, offering unique challenges and growth opportunities.

We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented student for a rewarding summer internship within our Business Development team. This role offers invaluable experience in the dynamic telecommunications industry, providing hands-on involvement in key business processes. You'll gain practical skills in sales, relationship management, and strategic planning, contributing meaningfully to our team's success. This internship is ideal for students exploring careers in business, technology, and related fields.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of diverse customer accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, from operational teams to senior management.
  • Develop and present compelling proposals, track progress, and negotiate agreements.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams across various departments.
  • Utilize Salesforce (or similar CRM) to manage customer data, track progress, and report on key performance indicators.

Critical Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Commerce, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles (preferred, but not required). We value a range of experiences and skills, including volunteer work, extracurricular activities, and part-time jobs.
