The Role : As a Medical Radiation Technologist in Medical Imaging, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment to perform diagnostic imaging examinations. This role involves preparing patients for procedures, ensuring their safety, and producing high-quality images for medical diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities :
Explain procedures to patients, answer their questions, and ensure their comfort and safety during imaging.
Operate imaging equipment such as X-ray, MRI, CT, and fluoroscopy machines to capture images of patients' internal structures.
Follow protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients, staff, and self, including the use of protective equipment and proper positioning techniques.
Ensure high-quality images by correctly positioning patients and adjusting equipment settings as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records, including details of procedures performed and images captured.
Regularly check and maintain imaging equipment to ensure it is functioning properly and safely.
Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide accurate diagnostic information.
Requirements :
Able to operate sophisticated computer equipment.
Able to interact compassionately and effectively with the sick or injured.
Able to follow detailed instructions Exact and precise.
Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic technology training.
C.T. Tech certified and must have at least 2 years working experience in CT.
