Solaris System Administrator

Our client is a leading national bank looking to hire Solaris System Administrator for a remote long-term contract.
Your new role
- Assist with operational support for the Solaris 11.4 environment
- Work closely with a team of developers to help configure, tune and maintain the current environment
- Contribute to Solaris OS patching, remediation practices and cycles
- Assist with planning and execution Solaris patch management using best practices
- Assist with execution and planning of installation, configuration and tuning of Solaris servers using OVM
- Provide input to and / or developing necessary documentation (build books, operation guides)
- Other activities and deliverables, as required
What you'll need to succeed
- University degree or college diploma in computer science or a related fiel
- A minimum of eight (8) years of demonstrated work experience with :
- Solaris 11 to 11.4
- Solaris Clustering
- OVM and OpsCenter
- Unix System administration and hardware support
- Build automation (Scripting, Packaging, Ansible, OpsCenter)
