Technician Accounts Payable

Department: Accounting

Location: On site Laval QC (4204 boulevard Industriel H7L 0E3)

THE ROLE

Under the responsibility of the Accounts Payable Supervisor within the Shared Accounting Services team the Accounts Payable Technician supports the Accounts Payable team in processing invoices and issuing payments.

WHAT YOULL DO

Want to start your career with us Heres an overview of the main responsibilities of this position:

• Enter invoices into the computer system;

• Reconcile data/purchases recorded at points of sale with account statements received from suppliers;

• Issue payment lists;

• Create accounting entries;

• Analyze various accounts;

• Respond to requests from various internal managers and suppliers;

• Perform any other related tasks.

WHAT YOULL NEED

We want you to join our team! Heres what were looking for:

Education:

• AEC or DEC in accounting;

Experience:

• 1 year of relevant accounting experience.

Knowledge and skills:

• Demonstrate a high level of confidentiality in handling files;

• Meet tight deadlines;

• Be meticulous while working quickly and efficiently;

• Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service;

• Able to work independently or as part of a team;

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Language skills:

• Bilingualism required (Advanced French and English) both spoken and written as the person will be required to work and communicate regularly in English while performing the tasks outlined above. Specifically the role requires collaboration with global teams.
