In this role you will :
Develop and maintain the corporate long-term Safety Strategy including an annual re-freshWork with key internal stakeholders to develop, maintain and implement the multi-year action plans to realize the safety strategyDevelop KPIs related to the safety strategy and report to EMC and the Safety Committee on their achievementDevelop and maintain the corporate SMS FrameworkLead the annual SMS Management ReviewLead the annual CANSO Standard of Excellence (SoE) in SMS Maturity AssessmentStay current on safety management topics in general (in and beyond aviation)Participate in CANSO and other industry working groups as appropriateWhat you bring :
College diploma or university degree related to aviation and / or planning or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience3-5 years as a subject matter expert (SME) in the development, establishment, and maintenance of strategies, preferably in the aviation industry3-5 years as a subject matter expert (SME) in the development, establishment and maintenance of an SMS, preferably in the aviation industryExperience researching, analyzing data (qualitative and quantitative), conveying value-added information, and preparing and reviewing reportsExperience managing and delivering a variety of projects and initiativesExperience coordinating and leading multiple, simultaneous, and diverse project teams across multiple departmentsDemonstrated experience in strong stakeholder management and building collaborative relationships across various departments and groupsStrong communication skills (verbal / written)Experience in working with international aviation industry bodies (asset)Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities in a dynamic environmentAbility to deliver presentations to large audiences at all levels of the organizationStrong knowledge of the Canadian aviation regulatory frameworkHow others describe you :

This position is eligible for a Flexible Work Arrangement.
