Are you a PSW, International Nurse, Health Care Aide or CAREGiver ? If so, we are hiring and we want you!

Are you looking for a part-time or full-time opportunity that offers flexible hours and fits with your schedule ? We are hiring and want you to join us!

We are seeking skilled individuals to fill roles as PSWs and / or CAREGivers, assisting seniors in the community of Fergus .

We aim to fill multiple open roles with weekday and weekend availability.

Essential Job Functions

Providing 1 : 1 care assistance to clients, individually or in teams with other CAREGivers.

Assisting in 2-person transfers using mechanical lifts or 1-person assists.

Providing medication reminders.

Supporting clients with Activities of Daily Living like toileting, bathing, dressing, feeding, and ambulation.

Assisting with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living such as laundry, changing linens, and warming meals.

Maintaining communication about client care needs and making appropriate reports.

Requirements of the Position

A vehicle with valid auto insurance is preferred.

CPR / First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Certified PSW or International Nurse.

Experience with 2-person transfers is preferred; training provided if needed.

Experience with personal care tasks.

Team player willing to collaborate with other Home Instead CAREGivers.

Experience with Alzheimer's, Dementia, Parkinson's, etc., is a plus but not required.

Additional Notes

Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination required unless accommodations are applicable under human rights legislation.

Home Instead does not participate in international sponsorships.
