The PDC Operations Manager plays a critical role in driving continuous improvement across PDC operations. This position is responsible for analyzing performance data and translating insights into actionable strategies that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. The role partners closely with the MPCA HQ team through the preparation of ad‑hoc and recurring reports, KPI management, cross‑functional collaboration with PDC operations, and tracking progress against business plans.
This is a highly visible and impactful role requiring a proactive, analytical leader who can deliver timely, accurate insights into key logistics and business management metrics. Through strong communication, data‑driven decision‑making, and disciplined execution, the PDC Operations Manager contributes directly to the sustained performance, growth, and operational excellence of the PDC.

Duties and Responsibilities :
Inbound Operations
Provide strategic oversight of inbound operations across the PDC, balancing volume, cost, and service performance.Set inbound performance standards to eliminate detention and storage exposure.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve putaway velocity and reduce systemic fill loss.Quality Management :
Own end‑to‑end quality management strategy for dealer claims and returns.Lead cross‑functional escalation and resolution with HQ and key vendors on systemic or recurring quality issues.Establish governance, metrics, and prevention frameworks to reduce future quality risks.Inventory Control :
Manage overall inventory control strategy and governance for the PDC.Lead warehouse optimization, system enhancements, and process standardization to support scalability and cost efficiency.Use data and KPIs to drive decision‑making, risk mitigation, and long‑term operational stability.Analysis & Continuous Improvement :
Analyze logistics and PDC operations performance data to generate actionable insights.Support the development of strategic initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness across the PDC.Monitor and analyze key operational areas, including inbound volume, labor productivity (LPH), inbound quality, storage utilization, future capacity planning, quality management, and inventory control functions.Business Plan Management :
Translate business objectives into clear, actionable plans with defined timelines, responsibilities, and milestones.Develop and execute detailed implementation plans in coordination with the Senior Manager to achieve business goals.Collaborate with Logistics Distribution Services (LDS) management and data analysts to prepare and manage monthly business plan reports.Reporting & Performance Management :
Periodic Reports : Collect, analyze, and validate data to prepare recurring reports related to PDC operations in alignment with Mobis KPIs.Key Management Indicators : Compile and analyze data for monthly management indicator reports.Productivity Reporting : Prepare and analyze monthly productivity performance reports.Dealer Claim Reporting : Prepare dealer claim reports and support improvement plans based on performance analysis provided by the dealer claim team.Inventory Accuracy Reporting : Prepare reports on regular and special inventory counts, including overage, shortage, and damage results, and support root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.Ad‑hoc Reporting : Prepare ad‑hoc reports and analyses as requested by Mobis HQ.Compliance & Process Support :
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards established by Hyundai Mobis HQ.Identify opportunities for process improvements within PDC operations.Support the development and maintenance of process documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Required Competencies :
Education :
Bachelor’s degree (BSc or BEng) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehouse Management, Operations, or a related field.A Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is considered an asset.Experience :
Proven experience in data analysis, data mining, and continuous improvement initiatives based on analytical findings.Strong background in report development and cross‑functional coordination.Experience in logistics, supply chain management, warehouse operations, inventory management, and financial or operational reporting within a corporate environment is preferred.Technical Skills :
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, data modeling, and analytical functions.Strong working knowledge of SQL and database management to extract, manipulate, and analyze complex datasets.Programming or automation skills are considered an asset for improving efficiency and streamlining reporting processes.Solid understanding of statistics and data analysis techniques to support data‑driven decision‑making.Mobis Parts Canada Corp. has accommodation process in place for employees with disabilities.
