Summer Student - Field

SaskEnergy is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our team. Summer students perform a variety of manual and semi-skilled tasks including, but not limited to : equipment and shop maintenance, yard upkeep and supporting our Service and Maintenance Technicians.

Position Details

Union - This is a temporary full time summer student position from May 4, 2026, to August 28, 2026.

Multiple positions available.

Responsibilities

Equipment and shop maintenance including :

painting services

cleaning and organizing facilities and stations

Yard maintenance including :

lawn mowing

weed trimming

hand digging

raking

Assisting operations staff with a variety of tasks as directed.

General administrative duties including filing and working with spreadsheets.

Qualifications

Enrolled as a post-secondary student on a full-time basis for the winter 2026 semester and returning in the fall of 2026.

Valid Class 5 Driver’s licence.

Physically fit.

Additional Information

Travel, including overnight stays away from bid headquarters, may be required.

This job is safety sensitive, and as such, is subject to the provisions of the Drug and Alcohol Policy (Pre-Employment or Pre-Placement for Safety Sensitive Positions).

Students must be prepared to work outdoors.
