JOB SUMMARY :
The Maintenance Mechanic (IMT) maintains, services, and modifies all machinery in the plant.
JOB TASKS :
Reviews daily Work Order assignments; plans, organizes, executes, and documents scheduled workCommunicates planned activities and commitments daily at department board meetingsPerforms PM and PdM tasks as scheduled; generates Work Orders for items identified as requiring attention outside the PM or PdMVerifies that PM tasks address failure modes; recommends changes as part of continuous improvementDocuments in the Work Order system all activities completed for equipment and building assetsMaintains assigned tools and instruments in good working orderReviews the condition of assigned equipment on a daily and weekly basisPerforms Standby duties as scheduledCOMPETENCIES :
