Role Overview :

We are seeking a detailoriented Mechanical Field Reviewer to join our dynamic team. This role involves monitoring and reviewing onsite construction and installation activities ensuring that mechanical systems are implemented in accordance with design specifications safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct detailed reviews and inspections of onsite mechanical installations to ensure compliance with project plans specifications and standards.
  • Verify contractor work for quality safety and adherence to mechanical codes and regulations.
  • Perform routine site visits and prepare comprehensive inspection reports highlighting findings deviations and corrective measures.
  • Collaborate with engineers project managers and contractors to address and resolve technical issues.
  • Ensure proper materials and methods are utilized in all mechanical installations.
  • Participate in site meetings to provide progress updates and address mechanicalrelated concerns.
  • Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies to maintain project timelines and budgets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in site inspection or a similar role preferably in ICI (Industrial Commercial Institutional) building projects.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems design standards and building codes.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings specifications and schematics accurately.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and quality assurance protocols.
  • Certification in construction site safety is an asset.
  • Experience with project management software and tools.
  • Prior experience in mechanical systems design or installation.
  • Excellent attention to detail problemsolving and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
