Our Yard Person positions are our direct link between our staff and our on-site customers, and are a key requirement in maintaining and developing successful relationships with these customers. Successful candidates can expect competitive wages, training, benefits and pension opportunities as a full time employee with our company.Key Responsibilities : Inspects equipment before and after renting.Prepares and brings rental equipment from the yard to the customer's truck or delivery truck.Washes and greases equipment.Stores equipment in appropriate zone or transfers to the shop, if repairs are needed.Checks propane and fuel inventory.Explains equipment operation to customers.Makes sure that customers fasten equipment securely in their vehicles.Keeps work environment clean and safes.Checks that all required identification is on rental equipment.Key Qualifications : High School diploma Experience in driving lift trucks, an assetKnowledge of industrial and construction equipment, an assetCustomer service orientedTeamwork and CollaborationOrganizational skillsSalary : $17.20 per hourBattlefield Equipment Rentals is committed to creating an inclusive environment where people from all backgrounds can thrive.
