JOB TITLE : Takeoff Specialist / Junior Estimator

LOCATION : East Greater Toronto Area (GTA)

SALARY RANGE : $55,000 - $60,000

What Will You Do?

  • Perform takeoffs and measurements for project bids, using tools such as Planswift or AutoCAD
  • Collaborate with project managers and estimators to prepare accurate and detailed material takeoffs
  • Analyze project blueprints and specifications to provide cost-effective solutions
  • Create comprehensive reports and ensure accurate documentation of all takeoff activities
  • Assist in reviewing project plans and specifications for any discrepancies or omissions
  • Support the estimating team in all phases of project preparation, from bidding to completion

    • What Do You Bring?

  • Proven experience as a Takeoff Specialist or in a similar role within the industrial construction sector
  • Strong working knowledge of Planswift or AutoCAD
  • Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and estimating processes
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines effectively
  • A positive, proactive attitude and a strong work ethic
  • Bilingualism in English & French preferred
