Job description

Our corporate client is looking for a Product Designer to join their team- this will be specifically working on Design Systems. It is 12+ months, fulltime hours per week, 1-2x per week onsite downtown Toronto,

What you'll be doing :

  • Designing and creating reusable components in Figma, that can be used across the platform.
  • Collaborating with other Designers and Developers to ensure designs are technically feasible and align with the platform's needs.
  • Publishing and updating design libraries in Figma to ensure that components are readily accessible.
  • Ensuring that all new components meet WCAG standards for accessibility.
  • Designing responsive web components, creating wireframes, user journeys, site maps etc.
  • Working with an investing / wealth client.

Skills needed :

  • 5+ years of experience in UX and UI, with strong expertise in building design systems.
  • Previous experience building a design system and components.
  • A portfolio or work to showcase this experience.
