Position Summary :
The Director of Technology will play a pivotal role in aligning the company's technological infrastructure with its business objectives. This role is crucial for overseeing both the IT and Business Process Improvement departments, ensuring the seamless integration of technology solutions and operational efficiency initiatives. With a strong emphasis on people management, the IT Director will lead and mentor two teams, fostering a collaborative environment focused on innovation, continuous improvement, and employee development.

Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee and mentor two distinct teams – IT and Business Process Improvement – ensuring both departments are aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth by providing coaching, performance feedback, and career development opportunities for team members.
- Serve as a bridge between IT, process improvement teams, and other departments, ensuring clear communication of goals, project updates, and challenges.
- Develop succession plans for key roles within the IT and Process Improvement teams, ensuring the organization is future-ready.
- Handle team dynamics and resolve conflicts efficiently, maintaining a high level of morale and productivity within both departments.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with the organization’s vision, ensuring that technology enables business growth and operational efficiency.
- Lead the digital transformation efforts, including the integration of new technologies, system upgrades, and software implementations that drive business growth and innovation.
- Identify and mitigate potential IT risks, ensuring compliance with data security, privacy regulations, and industry best practices.
- Lead the Business Process Improvement department in identifying inefficiencies within current processes and implementing strategies to streamline operations across the company.
- Utilize data analytics and business intelligence tools to monitor and optimize key operational metrics, providing insights that drive informed decision-making.
- Oversee multiple process improvement projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Ensure the company’s IT infrastructure (networks, servers, hardware, and software) is reliable, secure, and scalable to meet current and future business needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external IT vendors and service providers to optimize costs and service levels.
- Oversee the IT and process improvement budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and investments in technology.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree (MBA, MIS, etc.) preferred.10+ years of progressive experience in IT management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.Proven experience in managing IT departments, driving digital transformation, and overseeing business process improvement initiatives.Strong people management skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams.Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies.Experience with business intelligence, process automation, and ERP systems.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, inspire, and develop diverse teams.Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive company-wide initiatives.Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities with a focus on employee engagement and operational excellence.
