A successful Kitchen Manager is an organized people-person who is fanatical about food. A respected leader for both the front-of-house and back-of-house kitchen team members, the Kitchen Manager is highly competent at leading a team in a way that aligns with Lepp’s core values, enjoying the diversity of work from ensuring a great guest experience from our front-of-house team in the cafe, to our special features and grab-and-go items creatively designed by our back-of-house team.
Performance Expectations
Our front of house kitchen team members are passionate about great food and great service, being masters of both meal prep and coffee orders. Our back of house kitchen team members have a passion for creating the best of homemade meals using local fresh ingredients, and it shows in their work filling the special features for the day and the coolers on the floor. As the manager for the department, the expectation is to operate as a player-coach for the team : working side by side, seeking to develop the team and run a high quality, efficient, & profitable kitchen department.
Leading a skilled team requires a willingness to learn, a competency to problem solve and serve that team, and business acumen for the day to day operations. The Kitchen Manager is responsible for the team’s ability to produce high quality products for our guests, ensuring a financially responsible and profitable department, while training and developing the team.

Wage range $60,000 – $80,000.
