A typical day as a FINANCIAL ANALYST is : Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Financial Analyst will be able to play a key role in producing the company's financial statements, overseeing financial operations and implementing robust financial processes within a constantly evolving business.Month-end closings : -Coordinate month-ends and prepare monthly financial statements.-Ensure accuracy of accounting entries and month-end adjustments.-Reconcile monthly inter-company transactions involving different entities;-Carry out accounting for fixed asset acquisitions / disposals (CAPEX tracking) and implement improvements for tracking;Financial analysis : -Develop and maintain management dashboard based on relevant KPIs;-Prepare and monitor cash flows;-Perform variance analyses to identify discrepancies between actual results and budgets / forecasts.-Perform various ad hoc analyses requested by management;-Support operational teams in communicating recommendations concerning action plans and improvements related to profitability;Audit / Internal Control : -Participate in the preparation of accounting and government audit files;-Participate in the implementation of improvements and monitoring of processes and internal controls with the financial controller;-Participate in annual physical inventories and the implementation of internal inventory controls;-Document and keep up to date administrative and operational processes and procedures;Other : -Participate in improvement projects, including ERP implementation.
