Optometrist - Part Time - Full-Scope Care - Oshawa, ON

Licensed new grads and experienced doctors are encouraged to apply!

Optometrist owned and led. Join a group of ODs that are involved in all decision-making processes, focusing on patient and OD well-being rather than just the bottom line. Ownership opportunities are available. Many of our lenses are manufactured in Canada. This position offers an exciting opportunity for an optometrist interested in practicing full-scope optometry and pursuing specialties of interest.

Exposure

Do what you love - OD will perform full scope exams and some primary care, such as eye exams and retail dispensing. 90% of pretesting is handled by staff, allowing doctors to focus on building patient relationships and collaborating with opticians and the dispensary team for successful handoffs.

A lovely location - Located in beautiful Oshawa, ON, our office boasts a fantastic team including another OD, tech support, front desk staff, a practice manager, and experienced opticians.

Schedule & Benefits

Work / Life Balance - Flexible scheduling with 3-4 or 3-5 days a week; adjustments can be made based on your preferences. We optimize bookings by grouping patients by age, allowing for more or less time as needed.

Competitive pay and benefits - Compensation is based on a percentage of revenue. Benefits include access to an employee and family assistance program, options to purchase group benefits, and customizable plans.

What You’ll Need :

Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) Degree

Optometry License

Compassionate and thorough patient care
