Responsibilities
- Design precast / prestressed concrete elements
- Prepare detailed designs and calculations for precast / prestressed elements
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure design requirements are met
- Conduct structural analysis and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards
- Provide technical support throughout full project lifecycle
- Participate in project meetings and provide input on design solutions
- Understanding of precast concrete design principles and construction practices
- Stay updated with standard codes, practices and training
Technical Requirements
Licensed Professional Engineer in CanadaBachelor’s degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in concrete designBusiness Requirements
Proficiency in E-Tabs software and other structural analysis tools would be an assetRequired to obtain professional license for Maine, Massachusetts and other states as supported by the companyAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlinesCultural Requirements
