Electrician

We are currently interviewing for a manufacture in Guelph who looking for an electrician for permanent opportunity. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in an electrician role and looking for an position where there is growth and learning incentives.

Your tasks as the Electrician

• Demonstrated working knowledge of lock-tag-try and the Canadian Electrical Code
• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems
• Interpreting and reading blueprints and electrical drawings
• Provide preliminary planning, sketches and estimates for installation, repair, upgrade, and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment and resolve identified issues / problems
• Knowledge of automation systems and a strong mechanical aptitude

The required qualifications of the Electrician

• 309A or 442A certificate of qualification as Industrial Electrician
• High School Diploma or GED equivalency
• 3 years manufacturing / industrial experience preferred
• Participation and successful completion of workplace skills assessment
• Be prepared to work a rotating 12-hour day / night shift (Includes weekends and holidays)
