We are a busy, loving, outdoors-oriented family in the inner city area of Calgary seeking a full-time nanny to support our three children : a 5-year-old girl and a 2.5-year-old boy (both in school / daycare) and a 1-year-old girl at home. My husband and I are both full-time working professionals and need consistent, reliable support.
This role includes full-day care for our youngest child, before and after school support for the older children (with my support), household errand running, and general household cleaning and organizing. Some driving to and from school or activities is required, though I handle a large portion of this myself. We have two vehicles that are available for use. We also have a sweet, easy-going dog who loves walks, cuddles, and being around the kids.
I work from home but have a dedicated office downstairs, so there is plenty of space and privacy to work independently. We live in a large home with a big backyard, making it easy to get outside with the kids daily.
We are a low-screen, clean-eating household and value a nurturing, present caregiver who enjoys creative play, hands-on learning, and lots of outdoor time. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys being with children - someone fun, engaged, and comfortable jumping into dance parties, imaginative play, and family life. Flexibility and work ethic is important, as the role will include some weekday evenings, Saturday mornings and the occasional weekend evening.
We are willing to pay a premium for the right person, including competitive compensation and vacation time. Ideally, we are looking for someone who wants a long-term role, will become part of our family, and is open to future opportunities such as helping host family gatherings and travelling internationally with us in the coming years.
