Activity Leader Summer Fun Program Summer Student

Term of Employment :

7 Full-Time Summer Term (June 1 2026 August 24 2026)

Rate of Pay :

Summer Student Band : $18.05 per hour (Subject to CUPE 1015 Agreement)

Current Location :

Servus Sports Centre Bud Miller All Seasons Park. Lloydminster Museum & Archives and Bioclean Aquatic Centre.

Duties :

The Activity Leaders are responsible for planning promoting and organizing the Summer Fun activities for children and youth of all ages and abilities. Essential duties include :

• Planning and presenting activities at City operated parks and playgrounds.
• Being a positive and enthusiastic role model interacting with children to enhance their Summer Fun experience.
• Promoting all activities and events as well as encouraging and motivating children to participate.
• Leading trips and carrying out meal duties.
• Maintaining a safe supportive environment for children to participate in Summer Fun activities.
• Participate in the City of Lloydminsters Safety Management System.
• Other related duties as required.

Qualifications :

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications :

Schedule :

Normal working hours are Monday to Friday 8 : 15 am 4 : 15 pm with the occasional requirement to work outside these hours for the special events including but not limited to Canada Day and Heritage Day.

Special Instructions :

Applicants must be attending a post-secondary program including college or university during the last school term and returning to studies in the subsequent academic year. Verification of student status will be required.
