Bilingual Security Officer (French) - RCMP Chilliwack

Commissionaires BC is currently recruiting for a security guard to work the RCMP training site in Chilliwack. The position would see you working Monday to Friday 7am till 3pm. Pay rate $22.75 / hr Requirements : Valid BC Security License Must be bilingual (French & English) Have lived in Canada for minimum 5 years for clearance purposes and be a Canadian Citizen or have a valid PR OFA 1 or willing to obtain Class 5 Drivers License Willing to go through RCMP clearance process (may take up to 5 months) Some of your responsibilities include : Reception duties, answering phone calls and questions Patrols – interior and exterior Maintaining official visitor logs, count sheets, sign-in / out sheets Writing clear and concise daily logs and reports of all incidents Proactively responding to and resolving emergency situations Provide first aid in a prompt, accessible, and appropriate manner Effectively communicating problems or concerns to the Site Supervisor Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of site duties and safety standards  What’s in it for you?
