Your new role
This firm is seeking an Administrative & Billing Assistant to join its team on a full-time basis. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this role supports both the administrative and billing functions and involves working closely with law clerks, lawyers, and the accounting team.
This is a junior–intermediate administrative opportunity suited either to :
- A motivated graduate seeking a strong entry point into the legal industry, or
- An experienced administrator seeking a stable, Monday–Friday role in a professional environment.

Prepare, review, and process billing documentation.Perform significant data entry and maintain accurate file documentation.Set up new client or matter files and ensure all supporting information is captured correctly.Review and verify high volume transaction statements to ensure accuracy.Input invoices into internal systems and support reconciliation tasks.Assist with administrative workflows for assigned legal practice groups.Support senior law clerks, lawyers, and accounting team members as required.Conduct periodic checks of posted transactions to ensure system accuracy.Provide general administrative support including clerical tasks, document preparation, and file organization.What you'll need to succeed
Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data-heavy tasks.Organized, reliable, proactive, and able to learn processes quickly.Positive attitude, willingness to contribute, and ability to stay engaged.Ability to work onsite and collaborate closely with legal and finance professionals.Prior billing or legal administrative experience is an asset, not a requirement.What you'll get in return
