Cross-border Class AZ Tanker Driver-Regional

Clean Harbors is looking for a Regional Class AZ Tanker Driver to join their safety conscious team in Guelph ON! This route runs fromGuelph ON to various locations in CAN as well as cross-border and averages 1500-2000 miles per week.

About the role:

• Drivers average $90-$120K per year
• $7500 sign-on-bonus available
• Weekly home time
• Compensation includes hourly wages (all on-duty non-driving time) and mileage pay if applicable

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices policies and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer tanker units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads from Safety-Kleen/Clean Harbor branches and customers and transports to our refinery centers
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs time sheets expense reports dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

• Class AZ CDL required
• 12 months Class AZ experience
• 3 months Tanker experience
• TDG and Tanker endorsements
• Ability to lift and carry 50lbs;
• Ability to work from heights
• Ability to drive a manual transmission (10 13 18 speed) required
• Valid Canadian Passport
• Valid Canadian Fastcard
• Must be willing to perform trips cross border to the US
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
