OPEX Manager

DSJ Global is partnered with a leading packaging company in Montreal, QC. The team is looking to build out their Lean and Continuous Improvement team with an OPEX Manager.

The Lean / Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager plays a pivotal role in fostering a Lean culture within the manufacturing plants. Responsible for leading Lean transformation initiatives, this role collaborates closely with plant leadership and employees to drive operational excellence and exceed business goals.

Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with the Lean Steering Committee, Plant Manager, and production managers to identify improvement opportunities and prioritize Kaizen events.
• Develop and execute site-specific Lean transformation plans aligned with business objectives.
• Facilitate training, preparation, and execution of Kaizen events, ensuring effective communication and follow-up.
• Educate and empower plant teams in Lean principles and tools such as 5S, TPM, and Visual Management.
• Analyze departmental metrics related to continuous improvement, safety, and environmental performance.
• Utilize Lean methodologies to drive Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and develop action plans for improvement.
• Provide guidance and support to management teams on CI initiatives and share best practices for sustained results.
