Business Systems Analyst to provide day-to-day operations support for various ERP systems for a financial services client!

Our valued financial services client is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to provide day-to-day operations support for various ERP systems!

Permanent full-time role located in Gatineau, QC (4 days/week on-site). Expected Salary Range of $80,-$85, per year with up to a 15% annual performance bonus. Candidates located outside of the national capital region will be eligible for relocation assistance if required.

As the successful candidate you will be a key member of the Finance Applications team and contribute to the support, configuration, enhancement, development, and implementation of the ERP and financial applications suite. This role will focus on managing and delivering key system improvements and projects that enhance the useability and business value of these systems.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary contact for ERP and financial applications issues escalated beyond standard support processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day system issues to support stakeholders on new requests or incidents related to Financial Applications.
• Collaborate with a team of Business and Systems Analysts to support and maintain ERP and financial applications through configuration, incident resolution, and features development.
• Analyze business processes and system workflows to identify gaps, inefficiencies, or areas for improvement.
• Develop hands on knowledge of the ERP and other Financial Applications to investigate issues, identify root causes, and drive resolutions.
• Perform impact analysis across modules and systems to ensure changes are sustainable, compliant, and aligned with business goals.
• Act as the liaison between Finance, Operational business units, Technical teams and Vendors.
• Facilitate the collection of business requirements, understand, analyze, and translate them into system requirements, configurations, and customizations.
• Participate in the collection and presentation of evidence to support the organization’s audit cycles.

Must-Have Skills

• Between 2-5 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, supporting ERP or financial systems.
• Strong knowledge of core ERP enabled business cycles, more specifically accounting, procurement and accounts payables cycles.

Nice to Have Skills

• Professional Accounting Designation (CPA) preferred or similar e.g. CA / CAA
• Demonstrated experience working with EPM / CPM software such as Onestream, TM1; or ERP software connected to EPM/CPM systems such as IFS and Dynamics
