Medical Oncologist Regular, Full-Time FTE)Kamloops, BCJoin one of the world's renowned cancer organizations. BC Cancer is looking for a Medical Oncologist to join its Kamloops Satellite Clinic team, operated by BC Cancer Kelowna, and located in British Columbia’s beautiful Interior Region.

As a part of the province’s 10-year BC cancer action plan, BC Cancer, in partnership with Interior Health, is building a new cancer centre at the Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops to bring cancer care closer to home for patients and families facing cancer.

The successful applicant will :

  • Work with a well-established team of specialized medical oncologists, GP oncologists, and allied health professionals.
  • Participate in clinical, research, administrative and educational activities.
  • Report to the Department Head of Medical Oncology at BC Cancer Kelowna.
  • Have an opportunity to be a part of the exciting development of the new cancer centre at Royal Inland Hospital.

Service contract and salary options are available.

What you bring :

  • Fellowship standing in the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine, along with a certificate of Special Competence in Medical Oncology.
  • Eligibility for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.
  • Eligibility for appointment to medical staff of BC Cancer, and Royal Inland Hospital.
  • Eligibility for a clinical appointment to the University of British Columbia, Division of Medical Oncology in the Department of Medicine.
