Required Skill Set

6-8 years exp IBM Sterling MFT Suite, Proficiency in IBM Sterling Control Center, IBM Sterling secure Proxy, IBM Sterling file Gateway and IBM Sterling external Authentication Server.

Role Description

Design, Develop and deploy file transfers solutions using IBM sterling MFT suite, Including configuration, customization and Integration with existing systems. Collaborate with business stake holders to gather the requirement and translate them into technical specification for file transfer work flows. Implement secure file transfer protocols and encryption standards to protect sensitive data during transit. Perform trouble shooting debugging and performance tuning of the file transfer process to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency. Conduct regular maintenance and upgrade of IBM sterling MFT infrastructure to keep pace with evolving business needs and technology advancements. Develop documentation including design documents technical specification and operational procedures to support the implementation and operation of file transfer solution. Stay abreast of industry trends emerging technologies, best practices in file transfer management to recommend and implement continuous improvement.

Desired Skill Set

Knowledge of IBM sterling B2B integrator, IBM sterling Integrator mapping and translation modules. Strong understanding of File transfer protocol such as FTP, SFTP, FTPS, AS2, HTTPS as well as encryption standards and algorithm. Hands on experience in scripting language like Shell, Perl, Python and Automation.
