Looking for a weekend nanny to join our family in Coquitlam, British Columbia! This position is only for Saturdays and Sundays, with preference from 8 : 30am to 5pm.Currently with an 3 year old toddler (February 2022), and a newborn (August 2024). Most of your interaction will be with the toddler. Duties include : - Feeding (breakfast and lunch)- Meal preparation (if required, but generally prepared by the parent due to fussiness)- Reinforcement of potty training is a must. Toddler will mainly be in underwear. Nap time will be in diapers.- Changing diapers / underwear, from pajamas to day clothes- Putting down to afternoon naps- Going for walks around the block (on good days)- Reading- Play time- New learnings- Skills developmentsSkills : - You are able and have experience in teaching and encourage potty training to a toddler- User of a second language (any language) is encouraged- Music - you can play piano, guitar, ukulele would be an assetKnowledge : - CPR required, - ECE certificate with infant / toddler preferred. - Experience teaching in a day care / Montessori environment would be an asset. Comfortable with animals (we have a 50lb dog) - you are not required to interact with the dog.
