Description
Key Responsibilities :
- Follow established safety protocols, report any H&S issues and assist in near miss or accident investigations
- Wear all personal safety equipment as required by company
- Maintain clean and safe conditions around work areas and equipment
- Must be flexible to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts
- Perform job set-ups, adjustments, startups and shutdowns in accordance with specifications and standard operating procedures
- Adjust the operating speed of machinery to meet optimal targets set by the company
- Monitor / inspect / report safely, film quality, production and equipment condition
- Report findings to Supervisor or Specialist and work with them to resolve any cause of defect
- Ensure quality of film and raw materials meet or exceed customer and company standards
- Participate in cross training on other company equipment
- Must be able to work overtime as required beyond standard work hours
Qualifications :
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent, in reading, writing and basic mathExperience in industrial manufacturing, construction, or similar industry preferred3 years of flexographic printing and / or blown film multilayer extrusion experience is considered an assetBasic knowledge of water based print and / or blown film extrusion raw materialsMinimum 1 year of counter-balance forklift operating experience (Recommended)Manual dexterityAttention to detailFluent in verbal and written EnglishPhysical Requirements :
