Investment Representative (IR) – IG Wealth Management

Location: Montreal or Winnipeg.

Position Summary

The Senior Specialist will support clients, Portfolio Strategists, and advisors by executing trades accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with industry and company regulations. The role involves handling incoming telephone and email inquiries, completing suitability assessments, maintaining regulatory knowledge, and participating in special projects.

Duties

• Professional servicing of incoming telephone and email contacts from clients, Portfolio Strategists, Advisors, and internal departments.
• Complete suitability assessments of orders and assist clients with KYC completion and updates.
• Accurately execute client trades ensuring adherence to industry and company regulations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry and company policies, products, and procedures.
• Uphold ethical and professional requirements as a CIRO registrant.
• Participate in special projects and assignments.
• Complete educational requirements to maintain registration proficiency.

Qualifications

• Registered as a Registered Representative (RR) with CIRO or as an Investment Representative (IR), and willing to become a RR within 90 days from the start date.
• Bilingual in English and French.
• 4–7 years of experience in the financial services industry.
• Post‑secondary education in a related field.
• Strong oral communication skills.
• Proven problem‑solving methodology.
• Accuracy, attention to detail, and organization skills.

Knowledge of French and English is required to support clients and team members within and outside the province of Quebec.
