This position works Is for weekend days, and on call for covering sick days or vacation. Must be comfortable working weekends and holidays.

Must have criminal background check through Waterloo Region Police station before starting

As a heavy-duty Custodial Associate, reporting to the Custodial Supervisor,youwill be responsible for cleaning of all hard floor surfaces, carpet extraction and the cleaning of all surfaces that must be reached by ladder and the collection and removal of garbage from drop points to a garbage compactor.

Your work will include:

• Cleaning of offices, dustings, vacuuming and removal of garbage
• Detail clean stairwells and elevator
• Washes large floor surface using mop, walk behind
• Wipes high level ledges and windowsills
• Cleaning of the washroom multiple times day
• Full cleaning of showers and locker rooms
• Transports cleaning machinery, when necessary, between floors and work areas.
• Removes & transports garbage from drop points to garbage compactor

Qualifications

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Must have 6 months or more experience in commercial building
• Able to lifft between 25-30 lbs for garbage
• Ability to obtain a clear criminal record through the Waterloo Regional Police station before hired.
• Must have a willingness to work with other or on your own.
