Sales Development Representative

Location : Toronto, Ontario (remote 4 / 5 days per week)

Reports To : SDR Manager / Director of Sales Operations

Overview

At Greenspace, our mission is to empower mental health systems, service providers and individuals in care with the technology, insights and expertise they need to substantially improve how services are accessed, measured and delivered.

We are searching for a passionate, motivated, and growth-oriented individual to join our 15-person Sales team as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) . Your daily work will be on the front lines, identifying mental health organizations that meet our target customer profile and reaching out to their leaders directly. Success in this role involves consistently opening quality conversations with organizations across North America.

SDR Responsibilities

  • Prospect : Identify leaders and managers within mental health and substance use organizations (hospitals, community agencies and private clinics) that will benefit from the use of Greenspace.
  • Strategize : Own a region / vertical / set of accounts, execute on an outreach and sales strategy that will evolve based on feedback in conversations and the data generated through your work.
  • Connect : Educate and generate initial interest in Greenspace with leads via phone calls, emails, and social media. This is to be done through clear messaging that aligns with their challenges / goals and by positioning Greenspace Health as a thought leader in this sector.
  • Book Discovery Calls : Maintain a healthy, active, and organized sales outreach pipeline - converting target accounts and leads into qualified discovery calls.
  • Collaborate : Work directly with your Account Executive, SDR Manager, and fellow SDR peers to strategize and move leads through to active sales opportunities.
  • Drive Excellence : Actively contribute to the organizational and sales team culture with a particular focus on consistent growth / iteration to drive results, a sky-is-the-limit mentality, and a ‘one team’ mindset.

Qualifications

  • Mission Alignment : Passionate about transforming mental healthcare and aligned with our core values.
  • Interest in Sales : You have a demonstrated and strong interest in developing your sales skills and building a career in sales. You have 0-2 years of experience in an outbound sales role or sales environment.
  • Education : You have completed post-secondary education, ideally in a related field, or have similar experience.
  • Communication and Persuasion : You have very strong verbal and written communication skills. You are a quick-thinking and sharp conversationalist with an ability to create connections through digital media (phone, email, social media).
  • High Performer : You are a motivated self-starter with a bias toward action. You are organized, methodical, strategic, logical, analytical, and have a great work ethic.
  • Good Vibes : You approach challenging times with resilience, optimism, and a solutions-focus. You thrive working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Bonus : you have past experience working or volunteering within the mental health and substance use sector.

  • Remote / in-person hybrid work setting. The work location for this position will be in Toronto, Ontario . The team currently works 4 days / week remotely with an expected one day per week in office.
  • Hiring Process
