Employment Term : Full Time Contract from May 4, 2026 - August 21, 2026

Position Reports To : Manager, Marketing, Digital Communications and Internal Communications Services

The starting hourly rate for this position is between $21.50 and $24.00 per hour based on a 37.5 hour work week and commensurate with candidate experience and education. Summer at Perimeter is busy and we need your help. We have summer student positions available throughout the Institute, running from May 4, 2026 to August 21, 2026.

The Video Creator and Editor Summer Student is a highly organized and creative role dedicated to all things video creating and editing. This individual will create videos regarding Perimeter’s culture, research, training and outreach work, repurpose already existing video content, write copy and post on Perimeter’s social media channels.

What you will do : Video Editing :

• Mine the PIRSA repository (Perimeter’s seminar and video archive) for high quality, accessible content, extracting Perimeter’s ‘greatest hits’ and putting together short videos highlighting Perimeter’s best scientific content
• Using other existing video resources, create short videos for YouTube, web and socials, as well as for internal communications channels
