This role focuses on people leadership, vendor management, day-to-day operational excellence, and executing network solutions aligned with designs from the Infrastructure Solutions team. The incumbent will manage strategic vendor relationships, develop a network roadmap, drive continuous process improvements, and ensure service availability to meet business needs.Core Responsibilities!People LeadershipLead a team of network engineers and analysts, providing direction, coaching, and career development guidance. Foster a high-performance culture by setting clear performance goals and providing regular feedback through 1 : 1 meetings and formal reviews. Vendor ManagementManage relationships with key vendors, including Cisco, Fortinet, and Managed Service Providers (MSPs). Ensure vendors meet service level agreements (SLAs) and deliver high-quality support and solutions. Operational Management Oversee the day-to-day operations of the network infrastructure, including monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Ensure network uptime and performance through proactive monitoring and issue resolutionStrategic Planning & Process ImprovementDevelop and maintain a network roadmap that aligns with business objectives and future growthIdentify opportunities for process improvements, including automation, to enhance network operations and efficiency. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure that network operations comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices. Maintain a strong risk management framework by adhering to network standards and controls. Let's Talk About You!Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure roles with a focus on networking and operations5+ years of experience in a leadership role managing technical teams. Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki and Cisco ISEExpertise in managing Fortinet firewalls, both in Azure and on-premises environments. Public cloud experience, particularly in Microsoft AzureRelevant certifications in networking technologies (e.g., Cisco CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE) are an asset. ITILv4 certification or working knowledge of ITIL framework is preferred. Proven track record of delivering network projects and managing complex network environments in fast-paced industries.
