The Position :
The Field Trainer will be responsible for designing and facilitating engaging learning experiences and compelling content for our customers and store teams. Reporting to the Director of Sales, Samsung Experience Stores (SES), with daily collaboration with the Training Manager, the Field Trainer will deliver consumer-facing learning sessions across our GTA stores and provide employees with stellar sales skills training to acquire knowledge, skills, and competencies in an effective and appealing manner.

What you’re responsible for :
Supporting the customer experience of our stores by delivering engaging learning sessionsSchedule and manage facilitation, registration and attendance of learning sessionsWeekly facilitation of customer learning sessions or experience events (Up to twice a day)Drive awareness and engagement around learning sessions across all GTA in-line storesCreation of engaging virtual and in-person training content (presentation, video, hands-on demo)Collaborate with Training Manager to ensure training material is tailored to key audience segmentDemonstrate compliance and training excellence through updates and regular reporting as neededAssist with internal training projects to strengthen customer service and sales excellence skillsProvide hands-on training and soft skills mentoring to store employees during store visitsFoster connections with internal and external stakeholders, identifying opportunities and needsTo be successful :
Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models and training methodsExcellent knowledge of lessons and curriculum planning, with the ability to storyboardExperience in the Wireless Electronics industry is an assetExcellent knowledge of Sales Processes and SkillsExperience in facilitating groups in-person and online using engagement tools (polling, gamification)Working proficiency in Webex, MS Teams, and other online training vehicles for internal facilitationStrong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is requiredAbility to write effective copies, instructional text, audio scripts / video scriptsExperience with video creation considered an assetAbility to travel across the GTA and manage a flexible schedule in fieldTakes initiative with a self-starter attitude, demonstrating excellent time and project managementTo join our team :
A bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as adult education, business, organizational development, business administration, communications, etc. is an assetThree + years’ experience in training delivery, teaching, coaching and facilitationMust possess the ability to proactively build strong relationships within a diverse organizationMust possess exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple on-going prioritiesSuperior organizational and planning skills are requiredExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalWhat we offer :
