Job Title : Lead Material Handler Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated lead material handler for our shipping and receiving department. This role involves onsite responsibilities such as receiving deliveries, unpacking skids, organizing, and transporting materials. The primary focus is on safely moving large and fragile glass doors using heavy equipment and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unpack deliveries, organizing materials for easy access.
• Safely move 100-400lb glass doors, utilizing heavy equipment when necessary.
• Collaborate with a team to maneuver oversized and heavy loads.
• Lift materials off trucks and position them for installation.
• Organize and itemize items, maintaining an efficient workflow.
• Focus on shipping and receiving site-required doors and materials with precision.

Work Environment

Work a late morning shift from 9 : 30 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday, with the first day starting at 7 : 00 am for orientation. Collaborate with another shipper and receiver in a safety-focused atmosphere. Please note, parking is not available in the area.
