The Ontario Veterinary College (OVC) is Canada’s #1 veterinary school and the academic home of the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program. The Academic Assistant (AA) is a dynamic, fast‑paced position that supports DVM instructors, manages exams, CourseLink, and student accommodations, and documents SOPs.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Student Experience, the AA is the first point of contact for DVM instructors and provides faculty with administrative support for exams, CourseLink, and processes related to students registered with Student Accessibility Services.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to DVM instructors, including CourseLink, Student Accommodations, and Exams.
• Manage multiple organizational email accounts and address support requests.
• Ensure seamless service delivery across departments for instructor support processes and track service metrics.
• Assist in documenting and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures for the DVM program.
