Position

Part-time Personal Support Worker in Whitby, ON every Monday-Friday 13 : 30-18 : 30.

Responsibilities

• Enteral feed support
• Maintain child\'s records and required documentation
• Assist the child with personal care, hygiene, and activities of daily living
• Observe and report on changes in child\'s condition to guardian and WeeCare
• Assist with ambulation, mobilization, transferring, and adaptive aids
• Demonstrate understanding of child\'s needs and maximize abilities
• Provide cognitive, social, emotional, and psychological support to the child / parent / guardian
• Respond to child / parent / guardian concerns and ensure appropriate action is taken
• Assist in maintaining a safe and cleanly environment, including child\'s equipment and belongings
• Notify supervisor of any concerns impacting child\'s safety, incidents, and accidents
• Complete all other tasks as assigned
