Job Description

Join our dynamic team and work with cutting-edge manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. We are looking for a skilled  Industrial Millwright  to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize industrial machinery, ensuring peak performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Maintain and repair advanced manufacturing systems, including conveyors, overhead and transfer systems, robotic systems, and presses.
  • Perform  preventative maintenance  on electrical and mechanical equipment following standardized procedures to minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and repair  hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Diagnose, replace, and / or repair machine components such as cylinders, pumps, motors, spindles, fixtures, slides, valves, gears, switches, and bearings.
  • Conduct  welding, metal fabrication, hand finishing, grinding, and polishing  as required.
  • Design, test, and implement improvements on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Work collaboratively in a  flexible manufacturing environment , adapting to evolving challenges and production demands.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Valid Ontario or Inter-Provincial 426A / 433A Millwright Certificate of Qualification ).
  • Completion of a  Millwright Apprenticeship .
  • Minimum 2 years of experience  as a Licensed Millwright in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Availability to work  weekends and flexible shifts  as needed.
  • Strong  troubleshooting and problem-solving skills , particularly in high-speed, high-volume industrial environments.
  • Hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing  hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems .
  • Familiarity with  PLC programming (Ladder Logic) and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)  is a plus.
  • Proven ability to perform  preventative maintenance  on electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Experience with  welding, machining, and metal fabrication .
  • Skilled in  rigging and hoisting  (preferred).
  • Ability to  adapt to changing priorities  while maintaining efficiency and precision.
  • Strong  team player  with a commitment to continuous learning, improvement, and workplace safety.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with  cross-functional teams  in a fast-paced environment.
