About the Position

Under the direction of the Manager of Capital Engineering, the Construction Services Supervisor is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing annual maintenance construction projects. This role ensures that municipal standards are met through the review and approval of site servicing permits, effective scheduling and supervision of construction inspectors, and the successful execution of capital and maintenance projects. The Supervisor acts as a key liaison between internal departments, contractors, developers, and regulatory agencies to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities

Project Planning and Delivery :

• Plan, coordinate, and execute annual maintenance and rehabilitation projects for municipal infrastructure (ex. crack sealing, asphalt patching, utility cuts, sidewalk replacements).
• Prepare project scopes, schedules, and work plans to support timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines, and address issues or risks as they arise.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external consultants or contractors during project execution.

$97,156-$113,659 (2026 rates) plus a comprehensive benefits package, and OMERS pension.
