Job description

Responsibilities :

Lead and supervise a team of installers in the installation of grain and fertilizer handling equipment at client sites.
Plan and coordinate installation projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installation processes.
Conduct site assessments to determine installation requirements and potential challenges.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions to any issues that arise during installation.
Ensure all installations comply with safety regulations and company policies.
Train and mentor junior installers, providing guidance and support to develop their skills.
Perform troubleshooting and problem-solving to address any technical issues during installation.
Maintain accurate records of installations, including reports on progress, equipment used, and any modifications made.
Operate all types of lifting equipment including forklifts, zoom boom and man lifts.

Qualifications :

Background as a Millwright or a relevant combination of experience and education.

5+ years’ experience with Fertilizer and Grain Handling equipment assembly and installation.

Experience as a lead hand is considered a strong asset.

Working knowledge of CORE Safety Principles.

Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Willingness / ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Possession of a valid Manitoba Class 5 Motor Vehicle Operator’s License.
